Have you ever had a crazy cool mural that you can not stop watching? This is probably because murals are just a clever attempt to create illusions. They can all expand our horizons, and they often carry us to another time or place through images. In its simplest form, decorative art murals are common sights in just a wall or housing, usually in large scale. Certain materials are required to complete a mural, but the painting is not one of them. Here are some really interesting facts about the great wall of our world.

1. Usually murals largely inspired by six major themes: religion, the four seasons (fall, winter, spring and summer), historical events, the ages of man, politics and social issues.
2. In 1933, President Franklin Roosevelt initiated a program of mural known as the Works Progress Administration (WPA) in New Deal America. It was a great act of patronage that can out of the work of artists the opportunity to earn a pittance and murals as a form of the devastating effects of the Great Depression reduced. Murals art currently made available to people and led to commissions and other local artists to create public murals.
