Old Time Radio (OTR) is not dead. In fact it is very much alive on the Internet. The Internet has really helped to revive old time radio. After the days of old time radio had ceased, the only way to get one of these shows is to find them in old reel to reel tape and listen to them in this format. A kind of people these shows vinyl records and cassette tapes converted later.

There was a small group of OTR fans used to make the shows and trade among themselves. Very few people have enjoyed these shows know that small clubs and so could not the shows.

When the computers of people have become more and more available, the smart computer users learned to convert these old programs to digital format. 70-minute shows can be put on a CD. With the emergence of the format of MP3 audio compression, the distribution was now possible through the Internet.
